{The Last Year}

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple days, I drove up to school and was decorating my new and last dorm room! This year is much better, I actually have my own bathroom and kitchen! What  a relief. I spent all yesterday decorating this place. (It was in desperate need of some help). I am not quite finished yet but here are some before and afters of my apartment! It's a great start to a great senior year! Enjoy!

My bed and desk area consisted of a summer camp style bed and a large chunky wood desk. I added a crisp, clean white comforter and added a eye catching pink graphic pillow to give it a dose of color. I hung two black and white photos from my travels to Paris and two black and whites from a trip to San Francisco. Floor pillows act as great alternate seating, so I added two floor pillows that tie all of the colors of the room together. I added a small black night table and placed white flowers in a vase and added a candle, sea shells, and my trusty nook! Last, I topped this unattractive desk off with a Keep Calm and Carry On poster, a pair of great colorful glass pieces, an adorable lamp, bowls and coasters, and a few notebooks!

This side of my room was very plain jane so I hung all of my brightly colored statement necklaces to act as art. I placed a vase of flowers next to my T.V. and built a shelf to hold my other pieces of jewelry and a few other things.

Filling this small closet with my favorite clothes really spiced up this small space, clothes are art!

This bathroom area was boring so I added a pair of chic white lanterns, a vase of hydrangeas, a few little bowls, beaded accessories, and some beautifully packaged soap from Sicily.

This great colorful shower curtain paired with vibrant towels adds character to this dark and dreary bathroom.
