One element of a bedroom that truly makes a statement is the headboard. Instead of hanging pictures or a mirror above a bed, invest in a tall headboard covered in a rich luxurious fabric. There are so many headboard options to spice up your bedroom!
You can even make your own! Cut a design in a piece of plywood with a jigsaw, whether it just be rectangular or a funky design. Next put foam and batting on the ply wood and last staple gun your favorite eye popping fabric to the board! Later, you can add buttons, studs, or piping to the headboard if you want to jazz it up!
