The Met Ball

The Met Ball or otherwise known as The Costume Institute Gala, is one of the most talked about events in the fashion world. This year it was celebrating the opening of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit at The Met, which I have to see at some point this summer! The gowns were vibrant, sexy, sparkling, and chic. These ladies never cease to amaze me with their daring and gorgeous couture. Here are some of my favorite looks of the night, enjoy!

The Best of Both Worlds

This California home is absolutely stunning. The back facade is reminiscent of the farmhouses in South Africa. The inside is clean, contemporary, and colonial. The mixture of styles comes together to create one beautiful masterpiece. The ceilings are adorned with natural, beautiful wood beams which add such warmth and comfort to the rooms. This home is filled with unique details, warm colors, an eclectic touch, and a little old world charm.

Working Hard

This weekend is all about finals. I will have my head buried in my books until Tuesday. I get vey stressed when it comes to finals weekend so there are a few things that keep me sane! I love candles, fresh flowers, sleep, calm music, and snacks! I do feel that I could definitely get more studying done if I had a office with a view to study in instead of the library or my small cubicle of  a dorm room. Here are two pictures of offices that I think I would get MUCH more studying done in!

A girl can dream! :)
