{Light, Art, & Character}

Daniel Romualdez grew up in the Philippines. His parents wanted him to be a successful banker yet he was more interested in homes. He went to Yale, worked on Wall Street then got his master's at Columbia's School of Architecture and started his own practice in 1993.  He is an architect and designer, having done projects such as Aerin Lauder's Aspen home and Tory Burch's glamorous Madison Avenue store. He purchased this Beverly Hills home full of light and windows framing the city. He pushed the envelope with this home and had fun with it. The art in this space is so phenomenal, that is what really makes it for me. He didn't make it the typical stark modern home, this has character and life.
